NIC2.0
NIC2.0 is the new and redesigned version of the former Neuroelectrics Instrument Controller (NIC) application. With a modern and intuitive interface, NIC2.0 allows computers to interact and control Neuroelectrics devices (e.g. Enobio 8, Starstim 32).
stands for Neuroelectrics Instrument Controller. NIC is the application that allows a computer to interact with Neuroelectrics devices. NIC is prepared for both wired and wireless connections to control the devices. NIC allows EEG data to be streamed and analyzed in real- time with Enobio devices, and provides a secure way to de ne the stimulation parameters for Starstim units. NIC is a powerful platform that is equipped with basic and advanced modes to design and monitor any experiment involving electroencephalography (EEG) and/or non invasive brain stimulation with transcranial current stimulation (tCS). NIC2.0 corresponds to the second version of the former NIC. NIC2.0 has a completely new interface that provides a unique experience to both clinicians and researchers in Neuroscience departments. The new graphical user interface (GUI) simpli es the interaction with the advanced technology embedded in Neuroelectrics devices.
NIC (the Neuroelectrics Instrument Controller engine) is the software that controls StarStim and Enobio 8/20/32 NECBOX systems (the NECBOX is the little box hosting the amplifiers, electronics, battery and communications sub-systems). NIC provides access to EEG data (raw, power spectra, filters, scalp maps) as well as configuration of stimulation sesssion parameters and rendering of associated Electric fields.
Neuroelectrics has recently released a new NIC software version, 1.4. See NIC's user manual in our website.
